Application Requirements

The application requirements for Preschool through 12th Grade are as follows:

  1. Completed registration application
  2. Copy of passport or birth certificate
  3. 1 passport-size photo
  4. Official school records from the past two years
  5. Complete immunization or health record
  6. Application fee of $ 100.00

In order to be considered for admission at the International School of Dakar, the application process must be completed in its entirety before a final decision can be made. To enable us to communicate with you about your child’s application, it is very important that you include a current email address and telephone number where you can be reached.

We cannot accept incomplete applications. However, third person emergency contact information and a map to your residence in Dakar can be completed upon arrival at ISD.

Prospective students and parents will be notified of the time and date of the entrance exam (if required) once all documents have been submitted to the Admissions Secretary.

AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE SCHOOL RECORDS

It is the responsibility of the applicant’s parents to provide complete, official school records for the two years preceding admission to ISD (three years for the students applying to grade 12). Admission cannot be considered without these records and admissions procedures will be deferred until they are received. We ask that you complete and sign this authorization form, so that ISD may assist in this process by requesting the required records from the previous school(s). Note, however, that responsibility for providing the required school records ultimately rests with the parents.
