ISD Loaner Policy

Loaner Pool for ISD purchased Models

ISD will provide a loaner pool for student computers, should the ISD purchased computer fails. The loaner pool will have replacement computers that are similar, but not necessarily identical to the student’s computer. ISD cannot guarantee the length of time for repair but will work with our vendor to have most repairs completed in a few days. There is no charge for the use of the loaner machine while repairs are in progress.

Students may not store any information on the loaner computer; instead, they should save everything on their thumb drive for transfer to their personal machine. A USB thumbdrive will be provided, if needed - the USB drive must be returned with the loaner machine, once repairs are complete. Students are fully responsible for the loaner.
