High School Graduation Course Requirements
A student must have accumulated 28 hours of credits during their high school career which encompasses 9th through 12th grades. Each field of study has a certain number of credits that must be completed. A credit is earned when one YEAR of study in a certain subject is completed. A normal credit load is 8 credits per year.
The requirements for high school graduation in each area are the following:

| TECHNOLOGY | 1 credit | same as minimum requirements |
| ELECTIVES | these can be chosen from either the 4 core areas of study such as English, Math, Science, or Social Studies or they can be taken from other electives.) | same as minimum requirements |
| COMMUNITY SERVICE | 50 hours (Class of 2010) 75 hours (Class of 2011) 100 hours (Class of 2012 and onwards) |
