Education at ISD

ISD offers the globally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, fostering well-rounded development from ages 3 to 18.

• Primary Years Programme (PYP, PreK - Gr.5 ): Through engaging inquiry, we encourage young learners to be curious thinkers and active participants, exploring real-world connections.
• Middle Years Programme (MYP, Gr.  6-10): As an IB World School, our MYP empowers students to become internationally-minded and active learners, connecting classroom learning to the world around them.
• IB Diploma Programme (Gr. 11-12): ISD offers a comprehensive and challenging IB Diploma Programme, preparing students for university and beyond. Our experienced, IB-trained faculty, including many IB examiners, guide students through a wide range of subjects, including online options. We emphasize the Diploma's core elements—Theory of Knowledge, Creativity Activity Service (CAS), and the Extended Essay—with dedicated time and expert coordinators. This two-year program is recognized and respected by leading universities worldwide.

Since its inception, the IB Programme has offered a balanced and in-depth education, exploring knowledge across subjects through its unique Theory of Knowledge.
