Can non-American children attend ISD? 

Yes! The International School of Dakar (ISD) is open to students of all backgrounds and nationalities. 

Can my child attend if he/she does not speak English? 

Yes! We accept students who speak a variety of languages. ISD offers English-Language Learning programs supporting students from Pre-Kindergarten through to grade 12. We accept students with a beginner level of English until Grade 8.

What curriculum does ISD offer? 

ISD is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. We offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Pre-Kindergarten through to Grade 5, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grade 6 through 10 and the highly recognized college preparatory Diploma Program (DP) in Grades 11 through 12. ISD also offers the ISD Career Related Program in Grade 11 and 12.

What opportunities do students have after graduating from ISD? 

Students in recent years have gone on to study at top universities around the globe, from Europe to America to Africa. ISD has two high-school counselors that support students and parents through this process.

Est ce que les enfants de nationalité autre qu’américaine peuvent fréquenter ISD? 

Oui! ISD est ouvert aux élèves de toutes les nationalités et parcours académiques. 

Est ce que mon enfant peut être admis à l'école même s'il ne parle pas anglais? 

Oui! Nous acceptons des élèves qui parlent une variété d'autres langues que l’anglais. ISD propose d’ailleurs un programme d'apprentissage de la langue anglaise du préscolaire au grade 12. 

Quel est le curriculum adopte á ISD? 

ISD a rejoint le monde du Baccalauréat International. Nous offrons le IB Diplôma Program pour les grades 11-12, le Middle Years Program pour les grades 6-10 et le Primary Years Program pour les grades PreK-5.
