Life in Dakar
Welcome to the land of 'Teranga,' the Senegalese concept of hospitality. Senegalese people are welcoming, warm people with a rich culture and history. Life in Dakar is marked by trips to local markets, sandy beaches, and year-long sunny weather. Its location on the tip of the continent makes it ideal for water sports, including surfing, snorkeling, kite-surfing, and more!
Senegal is both politically and economically stable. Thanks to political stability, the ex-pat community in Dakar is thriving and there are many delicious restaurants and modern supermarkets. There is also a large tourism industry, with high end hotels, resorts, and infrastructure to accommodate international tourists.
